A COMBINED ROYAL HOMESTAY

Why not create a ‘royal’ holiday in India by combining a visit to Jhalawar and Kutch? This unique way to discover some of India’s most unspoilt and fascinating destinations is one that very few visitors get to experience. You can choose to simply relax in a rural idyll or spend your time exploring the many attractions of these historic regions.

We would recommend taking in a two week trip with five days spent in each residence. For those guests flying into Bombay, it’s a short domestic flight to Bhuj, the capital of Kutch. You will be met at the airport by your hosts, and brought to their home at Devpur. Here you are free to enjoy an itinerary with the family that matches your interests exactly.

The easiest route from Kutch onto southern Rajasthan is by train, and a wonderful way to experience India’s countryside is by a comfortable air conditioned train ride. A private car will be waiting to collect you from the station and bring you home to the estate of Jhalawar. Five days can be spent here, either relaxing on the farmland or taking excursions to the many nearby places of interest. You could then depart by train from the nearby city of Kota for Jaipur or Delhi - or by private car for further adventures in Rajasthan.
